Who We Are
At M.A.D.E., family comes first, prioritizing our well-being both physically and emotionally. We strongly believe in the power of relationships, as they enable us to have the most maximum impact on the community.
Our Background
At Making a Difference Economically, we are committed to providing resources, guidance and mentorship to those who need it most. Our founder, who made some bad choices in his life, was able to turn his life around through the grace of God. What made him stand out from his peers was that he learned a trade in carpentry, which eventually allowed him to build a business. He realized that if more people were taught how to use their hands, it would give them the opportunity to turn their own lives around. Through our programs and initiatives, we are proud to help individuals unlock their potential and build a better future.
"Stanley Black & Decker released the results of its inaugural Makers Index, an in-depth research study examining skilled trade careers in the United States, among young people. The survey results reveal a lack of education about the trades – in fact, less than half of young people have ever had a conversation about skilled trades careers with someone working in the trades."
